Our take
I've been using the GP27U for a few weeks now and the 4K resolution at 27 inches is crisp. The 160Hz refresh rate is buttery smooth for fast-paced games, and the 1ms response time eliminates ghosting. Colors are vibrant thanks to the IPS panel, but the contrast ratio is typical for IPS—blacks aren't as deep as VA or OLED. The 600 cd/m² brightness is great for HDR content. For $350, this monitor offers excellent value for 4K gaming.
